Emma and Isbel first got together in 2015, through a shared love of composing. Since then, they have been performing as a duo for nearly 9 years. Their sound is described as contemporary folk, and they aim to convey both their Scottish traditional and classical upbringings in their compositions.

Their first CD Arenite was recorded in 2017, and is available on all music streaming services.

In February 2024, they will be featured on BBC Radio 3’s programme “The Farewell Glacier”, in collaboration with poet Nick Drake.
